Our Story

Hi! Hello! 

Two lil Doves started because of a dream of mine long ago. That dream led me to pursue fashion merchandising in college. Chicago was an amazing place to learn and grow within the industry. My love for fashion only matured as I got older. I found myself managing retail stores, and working behind the scenes in wholesale. I also studied gemology and received my Graduate Gemologist diploma. 

Once I became a mom, I found myself needing to take a step back and be home with my kids. Now that they are school aged, I am ready to get back to my passion. 

My mission is to provide practical, yet playful and creative clothing for women who are not afraid to shine. I want my boutique to be your destination for all the main events in your life. I want to create a closet of clothes that you love and will want to keep around!  ~Kim
